Everything you need to know about where to stay and how to get there.

Stay & Travel

Your journey through Cape Town & the Winelands

We’ll begin our celebration in Cape Town, then move together to the Cape Winelands, it’s just about an hour’s drive from the city.
It’s a smooth and beautiful route that takes you from the ocean to the mountains and vineyards.

Some of you will be driving; for those without a car, we’ll arrange comfortable group transportation between locations.

You’re welcome to stay anywhere you like in Cape Town for the first night (the 3rd of March).
For the celebration days, we’d love everyone to stay together at Molenvliet Vineyards, our private estate in the Winelands (4th to 6th of March). We’ve already reserved it in full, so you’ll only need to confirm and secure your room.

Getting there

All guests will be arriving internationally via Cape Town International Airport (CPT) — the city’s only airport, located just 20 minutes from the center.
It’s small, efficient, and easy to navigate after a long flight.

Once you land, simply order an Uber — it’s the most convenient and reliable way to move around Cape Town.
If you plan to rent a car, driving in South Africa is straightforward — roads are well-maintained, and navigation apps work smoothly.
Keep in mind that driving is on the left-hand side, and car rentals are available directly at the airport or in the city center.

For all wedding-related events, we’ll provide group transportation, so you won’t need to worry about logistics between venues.

The drive from Cape Town to Molenvliet Vineyards in the Cape Winelands takes about one hour, along scenic roads lined with mountains and vineyards.
Whether you drive or join our transfer, it’s an easy and beautiful trip.

Staying there

Day 1 — Cape Town

Guests are free to choose their own accommodation in central Cape Town or in Camps Bay, which will be around 15-20 minute drive to the venue.
You’ll be right in the middle of the city’s best restaurants, small hotels, and lively cafés.

(For privacy reasons, we’re not publishing the exact event address here — all details will be shared directly closer to the date)

Day 2—4 Molenvliet Vineyards

The following day, we’ll move together from Cape Town to the Cape Winelands, where we’ll stay and celebrate at Molenvliet Vineyards - a private wine estate surrounded by mountains, gardens, and rows of vines.

All guests will stay on the property, and we’ve reserved the entire estate for two nights.
Please note that stays at Molenvliet cannot be extended, as the full property is booked exclusively for our dates.

To make everyone’s stay comfortable, we’ve divided the estate into clusters by atmosphere. You’ll find the house names on the map below:

The Manor House – for those who enjoying good company but occasionally seek some relax time. Little further from the Party areas.

Mountain View Suites – for our party people, the social hub of the estate with views, laughter, and late-night stories.

The River Manor – calm and elegant, reserved for baby boomers.

Cottages 1–4 – ideal for families with children and their nannies, set close together with easy access to the gardens.

We’ve pre-booked the entire property, so it’s nice and simple. Take a look at the available rooms, pick the one that feels right for you, and let us know.

The bride and groom, along with some guests (who will be informed), will stay in a nearby boutique hotel.

Day 4 — Farewell Brunch & Departure

After breakfast on the final morning, all guests will check out of Molenvliet and leave their luggage with our team.
Transfers will bring everyone to the final gathering, located just a few minutes away, for a relaxed farewell before continuing your travels.

After brunch, you’re free to continue your travels or move to another hotel for the rest of your stay in South Africa.
By then, you might be running on memories and caffeine, but that’s the price for four days full of joy and celebration. And we think it’s a fair deal.

We know that most of you will be traveling from abroad, and many have told us you plan to make a small holiday out of it.
If your schedule allows, we warmly recommend:

1–2 days in Cape Town before the celebration, to enjoy the ocean views, Table Mountain, and the city’s vibrant food scene.
2–3 extra days after the wedding in the Winelands or nearby — to unwind, explore the vineyards, and soak in the scenery.

Altogether, that makes for a perfect South African escape relaxed, sunny, and unforgettable.
